About
Having trained in journalism during my Media Production (Journalism) BA degree, I can produce industry-standard multimedia content for web, social media, radio and TV platforms. As a reporter, researching leads, conducting interviews and building strategic working relationships is second nature to me. Similarly, my experience in editorial and broadcast production roles has enabled me to manage tight deadlines and heavy workloads, collaborate with reporters and technical staff, and ensure content output is consistently high quality.
My love of storytelling is at the heart of everything I do, and I want to use my skills to help organisations connect with their audiences, spread messages and increase their impact.

Experience
Currently
I am working as a freelance content writer and administrative assistant.
Outside of this, I am currently finishing my dissertation and will graduate from UWE in July 2025.
Since September 2024 I have been the senior Lifestyle Editor for UWE's HUB Magazine, where I edit and publish content on our Wordpress site, commission articles for the section via social media, coordinate junior editors.
In my free time I also study online courses to enhance my digital skills; so far I've completed certifications in Digital Marketing and Content Marketing from Hubspot Academy.
Previously
In December 2024, I produced a 30 minute TV broadcast with a studio audience for Bower News; UWE's in-house journalism outlet. Highlights included a live interview with Enough to End Rape campaigners, as well as packages exploring how the cost of living crisis has impacted local music venues and high streets in Bristol.
Between March and July 2024 I was a film screening coordinator for Sparks Bristol, sourcing and curating film programmes to promote the UN 17 sustainable development goals.
Upcoming
Over the next few months I am seeking experience in media communications roles, specifically within public sector, charity, arts and environmental organisations.
I have an upcoming editorial placement at Bristol 24/7 in April 2025.
By 2026 I am looking to secure a role in media communications and PR in Toronto, ON, Canada.
